Description: Starting the new year off right. Jan 6th DNA Dance Tribe will be hosting worskhops city to city to raise travel funds to Angola for dance training. The purpose of the workshops is to have displaced Africans go to the places of origin to create the connections of the people thru dance. Reconnecting displaced Africans in the diaspora through the science of traditional African dance. Our african ancestors left us a rich legacy and culture, that through 1000s of years of deprogramming has been lost . Our stories have been preserved through song ,art poetry and dance . Our study agenda is designed to reconnect us to this rich cultural history.
