Description:

The 2023 USA Mega Cultural Charity Concert Tour organized by Bright Light Projects will provide a unique platform for connecting and healing the USA diaspora community from the North and South west regions of Cameroon who have undergone emotional and psychological trauma now for over five years with the looming of the Anglophone crisis since 2016.

As the crisis in the Anglophone regions continued for the fifth year, over 712,000 people are internally displaced in the Anglophone regions and in the Littoral, West, and Centre regions as of August 2021, and about 86000 refugees mostly women and children are found in Nigeria, about 4000 civilians who have been killed with over 350 village raided down partially and severely burnt down.

Kumbo, in the northwest region of Cameroon where Mr. Leo hails from is at the epicenter of the ongoing war due to the Anglophone crisis. Kumbo is a displaced community suffering from trauma due to this crisis for over five years now. This tour will provide some moral uplifting due to the sufferings of the diaspora Anglophones who have lost multiple family member and property. It should be noted the paramount ruler of the Kumbp (Bui Division) where Mr. Leo hails from is also an internally displaced person living in the capital city of Yaoundé now due to the crisis.

This tour goes beyond music to a deeper meaning of healing and reconciliation for the Tikari grasslands diaspora USA community
