Description:

Nourished By Time, the project of Baltimore native Marcus Brown, blends the textures of gospel, indie pop, soul, and post-punk for a refreshingly distinctive brand of music. After sharpening his skills at Boston's Berklee College of Music and moving to Los Angeles for creative inspiration, he began developing his artistic identity. Starting in 2022, he started releasing music under the Nourished By Time moniker — a handful of singles and short EPs. But in 2023, his profile rose with the release of his debut full-length album, Erotic Probiotic 2 which received praise from Pitchfork, Exclaim! and The Washington Post. He followed that up in 2024 with his Catching Chickens EP and later this year is heading on tour.
